What is
WORLD STAGE?
Japanese participants and
foreigners living in Japan
form a team to create one musical piece
over the course of 10 weeks—overcoming
language and cultural differences together.
That is “WORLD STAGE”,
an international exchange musical project.
We gather once a week for practice,
build deep connections,
and finally present
a one-time-only performance on stage.

OUR CONTENTS
What’s included in the program?
Weekly Practice(12 sessions in total)
Each week, we practice singing, dancing, and acting as a team. Japanese and non-Japanese members collaborate using gestures, expressions, and shared communication to create a single piece together.
Social Events&Cultural Exchange
Outside of practice, we host events where you can relax and connect more casually—sharing hobbies, discussing culture, and enjoying fun games together.
Diverse Workshops
In addition to performance training, you’ll join workshops with people from all over the world. These activities help deepen your self-awareness, discover new values, and build strong bonds with teammates.
Final Stage Performance
At the end of the 12 weeks, we will present our creation to a live audience in a professional hall equipped with lighting and sound. This one-time stage will become a lifelong treasure for you.

No worries, even if…
…I’ve never done dance, singing, or acting.
No problem! Most participants are beginners. Our friendly instructors will guide you step by step. Let’s grow together!
…I’m nervous to join alone.
Many participants join solo! There are plenty of ways to naturally connect and feel at home in the group.
…I don’t speak Japanese or English at all.
That’s okay! What matters most is your desire to connect. Smiles and gestures go a long way—and multilingual staff will support you throughout.

While full participation is ideal, we offer flexibility and support when needed. We’ll help you catch up if you miss a session. Together, we’ll all be on stage.

Facilitator. After traveling around the world to 27 countries during university, he founded the nonprofit organization LES WORLD. He now runs two companies and is also a father of two. What matters most to him is finding a balance between pursuing his dreams and being there for his family.

Cherishing people just as they are.
I discovered expressive arts education when I was in elementary school, and little by little, it helped me learn to live more as myself. Today, I work in educational settings that nurture the skills to live fully, as well as in organizing events centered around creative expression. I’d be happy if we could create a warm space together where everyone can accept and embrace one another just as they are.
ORGANIZER
The host organization, NPO LES WORLD,travels to orphanages and slums around the world to create musicals with children. In Japan, it also organizes unique events such as “100FES” on an uninhabited island and “Kunizukuri FES” at former helipad sites.
